SBI (State Bank of India) is one of the oldest and most trusted Banks of India that offers recruitment to the youngsters who want to pursue their career in financial services. Through SBI CLERK Recruitment 2021, the bank will fill the vacancies for Junior Associates through its Special Recruitment Drive. This Bank job is considered to be one of the most secured jobs in India. The Online Registration for the Exam will begin from January, 2021 and will close by January, 2021. The examination is conducted in two parts: first Preliminary exam and then Mains exam. Aspirants can appear for the mains only if they clear the Prelims round of the Exam. The Prelim examination will be conducted in Feb 2021.   • The applicant should be an Indian citizen OR

  • The subject of Nepal/Bhutan/Tibetan Refugee settled in India before 1962 OR

7. SBI Clerk Marking Scheme

  • The marking process remains the same in prelims and mains exam

  • 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer

  • 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer

  • There is no negative mark or inclusive mark for unattempted questions

  • The exam will be conducted online, so marking two answers of a question is not possible in CBT

  • Negative marking not only prevents to gain mark but also shorten score by penalty

  • The candidates are suggested to mark the answers with accuracy to lessen the impact of negative marking

  • The four wrong answers mark deduction value is equal to the one right answer mark gaining value

Quantitative Aptitude: Simplification, Number Series, Data Sufficiency, Data Interpretation, Quadratic Equations, Time and Work, Partnership, Profit and Loss, Measuration, Time, Distance and Speed – Trains, Boats n Streams, Simple and Compound interest, Mixture and Allegation , Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Averages.

Reasoning Ability: Machine Input/output, Syllogism, Blood Relation, Direction Sense, Inequalities, Puzzles – Seating Arrangement, Floor puzzle, Coding Decoding, Ranking, Statement and Assumptions /Conclusions.

Computer Aptitude: Basics of computer, different generations, hardware/software, DBMS, Networking, Internet, MS Office and Shortcuts used in MS Offices, Input/output Devices, their types and important abbreviations.

General Awareness:  Current Affairs: News on Banking Industry, awards and honours, books and authors, latest appointments, obititaries, new schemes of central and state governments, sports etc.

Static GK: Country-capital, Country-currency, headquarters of financial organizations (of insurance companies), constituencies of ministers, dance forms, nuclear and thermal power stations etc.

9. SBI Clerk Preparation Tips and Tricks

  •  You need to finish three sections of SBI Clerk Prelims within 60 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 100 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.

  • Make mathematics and reasoning your strong subjects, practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. You should lay emphasis not on mugging up the formulas but instead try understanding the concepts, so, you can modify the formulas according to the question requirement.

  • Remember negative marking is a factor here. Therefore, try not to attempt questions that put you in doubt. Although, the prelim exam will be of just qualifying nature and won’t be considered for the final merit list as only Main exam marks will matter, but you still need to secure the minimum qualifying marks in the prelims as set by the Indian Bank.

  • Manage your time properly; give an appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
