The main function of NICL is to insure public properties and create reserves. Administrative Officer’s job responsibilities are- Managing office stock, Preparing regular reports (e.g. expenses and office funds), Organizing company records and Offering administrative maintenance & Dealing with enquiries. The Education Qualification of NICL AO Pre is 60% aggregate marks in graduation from a recognised university for General/OBC and 55% aggregate marks in graduation from a recognised university for ST/SC. The minimum age limit is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years, with age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST and 10 years for PWD. The basic pay of NICL AO Pre is 32,795 along with other allowances. Exam Pattern 

The exam happens in two phases:

  • Written Exam – Prelims & Mains
  • Personal Interview

The Written Examination consists of 100 multiple choice questions carrying 100 marks with the time limit of 60 Minutes and 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.

The Syllabus is:

  • Quantitative Aptitude: It covers topics like number system, HCF, LCM, Simplification, Decimals & fractions, ratio & proportion, unitary method, percentage, time & distance, time & work, profit & loss, simple & compound interest, algebra and data interpretation and more.
  • Reasoning Ability: It covers topics like problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts and more.
  • General English: It covers topics like grammar, verb, noun, proverb, sentence structuring, and more.

Note: The Results will be declared after 15 days which will show 500 candidates who will go further for NICL AO Mains and Personal Interview which will be announced soon. The cut-off will be based upon the merit list which will vary on the basis of category (SC/ ST/OBC/General/PH).

The Cut – off of NICL AO Pre varies from ST/SC/OBC to General and will be given on the basis of 500 seats. So, these are the Cut - Off available for NICL AO Pre 2018 (EXPECTED):
