Nationality: A candidate must be a citizen of India.
AGE LIMIT:A candidate must have attained the age of 22 years but must not be more than 30
Years of age as on the last date prescribed for receipt of applications in the Commission’s Office i.e. 5th January 2017.
RELAXATION IN UPPER AGE LIMIT:The upper age limit is relaxed able by 03 years for S.C. / S.T. and other prescribed reserved categories (OPRC) candidates of Himachal Pradesh.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSAs on fifth of January, 2016, a candidate must be a holder of a degree in Law as recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Recognised Medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part-II of the third schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the third schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in subsection (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
Completion of compulsory rotating internship.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONThe Knowledge of customs, manners, and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
Post Graduate Degree or Diploma included in the first or second Schedule or Part-II of the third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. The Holders of educational qualification included in Part-II of the third schedule should fulfill the conditions stipulated in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
A post graduate qualification from a recognized institution as mentioned in Appendix-A.
