  • The five steps for the development of an electronic product are:

  • If you just want one or two and don't plan on selling them, the easiest way is to roll up your sleeves, break out the soldering iron and make it yourself! (Or find someone with a maker-mentality that would be willing to make it for you as a personal project). This is a project that is at the level of most hobbyists.  Make sure you start with a regulatory approved power supply for safety reasons, and then regulate out the power from there (one voltage regulator per connected device) and connect to the right connectors and cables.

    (EDIT): Note that if you really want it to be as small and lightweight as a typical _travel_ adapter, that is not a task for an amateur. You are trying to supply a lot of power to charge that many devices, and will likely end up with something about the size of a laptop brick to handle the power requirements and safely dissipate the heat generated by the regulators.

Mainly draw the electronic circuit  schmatically, which is to be used. make all the aparatus available with you. Also design the 3D look of your device and orthograpic projection if required.Accordingly make the circuit as in the diagram. Be careful while doing the connections.Make Program for your devices (Microcontroller) which will make it do the particular work. Check and debug your program.Upload the data (program) to the components like ardieuno or motor driver or bluetooth chip your electronic device model. Try to make it convenient, eco friendly. It should also be resistive durable.Fit in your circuit in the 3D model. Make the device completely ready and then have trails of working and if present remove the bugs.

    The design methodology at most levels is pretty much similar.

    1. Decide what features your device needs - You decide on the performance, price and size restrictions. This is usually done in sync with a marketing team who go talk to customers and take feedback.

    2. Make a plan for the design process - Once you have the budget decided, you then decide on what features you can put into the device and still have enough budget left for the design and verification efforts. You decide on that modules to put into the design and prepare a rough timeline for the whole process.

    3. Deciding on the vendors - The next stage is to decide who the vendors will be for the various modules in your design. It could be the vendors for various chips in your TV, or the different controllers and components on your IC. You see if you want to use your in house design, or license the design from someone else for any specific module. At the same time you also decide on vendors for verification modules for your design. Again, it could be in house or external

    4. Actual design and verification - Both the design and verification teams now start working in parallel on the design, putting everything together and checking it at the same time. You will have a couple of actual physical designs manufactured as prototypes to see if everything is working as expected. At the later stages, it all turns to patching and bug
