3i- Infotech: Eligibility
Engineering graduates in subjects of Information Technology or Computer Science are eligible to apply.
Minimum 65 percent in Class X, XII and Graduation.
3i- Infotech: Exam Pattern
Level of Examination: Easy to Moderate.
Duration: The duration of the Aptitude exam will be of 90 minutes.
Number of questions: 150 Objective type questions.
Syllabus Covered: The Syllabus includes:
Marking scheme: Negative marking of 25% of the marks allotted.
Quantitative Ability- This section consists of 50 questions that cover the topic: Algebra, Time & Work, Percentages, Arithmetic, P& L, Geometry, Probability, Arithmetic, Speed & Distance, etc. The level of the questions being asked in this section is average.
Verbal Ability- This section also consists of 50 questions from the topics: Synonyms, Antonyms, Comprehension, Errors, Grammar, Jumbled sentences, etc. The level of the questions being asked in this section is Easy.
Reasoning Ability- 50 questions from the topics: Venn Diagrams, Sitting arrangements, Blood relations, Coding-decoding, etc.
Tips and Tricks
Candidates must attempt only those questions which they are sure of being correct, as there is 0.25 negative marking.
One must attempt previous years' papers and practice papers to know of the exam pattern.
One must be focused enough while attempting technical questions as a technical test holds an imperative position in the selection of a candidate.
Candidates must deal with the GD level very patiently and confidently.
Candidates must have good verbal communication skills.
