General English: Reading comprehension including Synonyms and Antonyms, Sentence rearrangement or Para jumbles Sentence Correction / Error Finding, Spell Checks, Fillers and Cloze Test.
Quantitative Aptitude: Simplification, Number Series, Data Sufficiency, Data Interpretation, Quadratic Equations, Time and Work, Partnership, Profit and Loss, Measuration, Time, Distance and Speed – Trains, Boats n Streams, Simple and Compound interest, Mixture and Allegation , Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Averages.
Reasoning Ability: Machine Input/output, Syllogism, Blood Relation, Direction Sense, Inequalities, Puzzles – Seating Arrangement, Floor puzzle, Coding Decoding, Ranking, Statement and Assumptions /Conclusions.
Computer Aptitude: Basics of computer, different generations, hardware/software, DBMS, Networking, Internet, MS Office and Shortcuts used in MS Offices, Input/output Devices, their types and important abbreviations.
General Awareness: Current Affairs: News on Banking Industry, awards and honours, books and authors, latest appointments, obititaries, new schemes of central and state governments, sports etc.
Static GK: Country-capital, Country-currency, headquarters of financial organizations (of insurance companies), constituencies of ministers, dance forms, nuclear and thermal power stations etc.

How to Score: SBI Clerk exam supports negative marking. For every correct answer, one mark will be rewarded to the candidate while for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted. For every unanswered question, there will neither be addition nor be deduction of marks. So it is highly advisable to answer only those questions about which you are confident. Be sure about your answer cause if you answer incorrect, 0.25 will be deducted from your correct answer.
