NAPLEX- North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination assesses the candidate's knowledge of pharmacy. This is used as a test by the board of pharmacists to check the candidate's competence.
There are 250 questions.
There are two areas: Ensure Safe and Effective Pharmacotherapy and Health Outcomes; Safe and Accurate Preparation, Compounding, Dispensing, and Administration of Medications and Provision of Health Care Products.
The duration is 4 hours 15 minutes to 6 hours.
CST- Certified Surgical Technologists assess the candidate's skills of surgical care. The test is to check the knowledge of sterile and aseptic techniques.
There are 200 questions only, where 175 will be marked whereas 25 are counted as pretest questions.
One candidate can attempt the exam only thrice a year.
PANCE and PANRE- Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam (PANCE) and Physician Assistant National Recertifying Exam (PANRE) are the certificate tests taken by physical assistants in the US.
These tests are computer based.
PANCE examination is of 300 questions, to be attempted in five 60 minutes shifts.
PANRE examination is of 240 questions, to be attempted in four 60 minutes shifts.
