  • Exam is held in three phases:
    Priliminary exam:
    ·         Total marks: 400
    ·         It is divided into two papers: CSAT ( Civil Services Aptitude Test) and General Study.
    ·         Each exam is of 120 minutes.
    ·         Marking Scheme: 2.5 marks are awarded for each correct answer and 0.33 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
     
    Main Exam:
    ·         Total marks:1500
    ·         Consist of four papers: General Study, General hindi  , Essay and one optional subject.
    Interview:
    ·         Total Marks:100
    Preliminary exam is only for qualifying round, their marks are not counted for final result.
     total marks: Main + Interview (1600)

  • Hi Vaishali, I’m sharing the UPPSC communicating Pattern 2016:
    UPPSC Examination is split into 2 components.
    • UPPSC Main Examination
    • UPPSC preliminary exam
    In the UPPSC Main communicating Pattern
    There will be total eight papers for mains communicating. Weight age of marks is 1400.
    • First four papers square measure obligatory of two hundred marks for every question paper of UPPSC examination..
    • In Last four papers candidates have to be compelled to opt for any of two subjects.
    • 2 nonmandatory papers contain two question papers every|for every} nonmandatory subject of three hundred marks each.
    In the UPPSC Prelims communicating Pattern
    • Paper I is contain two hundred Marks
    • Paper II is contain two hundred Marks and
    • Paper kind is Objective
