Eligibility Criteria For Gpsc:

  • The Candidate Must Be The Citizen Of India.
  • The Candidate Must Be A Graduate From A Renowned College Recognised By The State Government With Aggregate 55% Marks.
  • Must Have The Basic Knowledge Of Computers.
  • The minimum age limit Is 20 Years and the maximum age limit is 35 years for Unreserved Category, while for OBC category (Male) it is 37 years and for Unreserved/Obc Category (Female) it is 40 years while for SC/ ST it is 40 years.

Exam Pattern: GPSC Administrative Service

The exam will happen in two stages: Written Exam (Prelims and Mains) & Personality Test

The exam of GPSC Administrative Service PRELIMS consists of TWO Paper of 500 Objective Type Questions carrying 500 marks with the time limit of 5 hours: GPSC Administrative Service PRELIMS -

Verbal Gujarati & English Skill: It will comprise of 150 questions carrying 150 marks with the time limit of 90 minutes like Antonym – Synonym, Noun, Proverb and more.

General Studies II: It will comprise of 200 questions carrying 200 marks with the time limit of 120 minutes like Indian Heritage and culture, History, Geography of the world and India, Government, constitution, Indian Polity, Social Justice, International Relations, Technology, Bio – Diversity, Environment, Disaster Management, Economic Development and much more.

Quantitative Skills & Reasoning: It will comprise of 150 questions carrying 150 marks with the time limit of 90 minutes like syllogism, problem-solving, blood relations and more.

The exam of GPSC Administrative Service MAINS consists of FIVE Paper 900 marks with the time limit of 12 hours and 20 Minutes: GPSC Administrative Service MAINS -

General Gujarati I (Descriptive):  It will comprise of 100 questions carrying 200 marks with the time limit of 3Hours like Antonym – Synonym, Noun, Proverb and more.

General English II (Descriptive):  It will comprise of 50 questions carrying 100 marks with the time limit of 3Hours like Antonym – Synonym, Noun, Proverb and more.

Optional Paper III (Descriptive): It will comprise 200 marks with the time limit of 3 Hours like Social Science, Maths, Science and more.

General Studies Question Paper IV to V (Objective): It will comprise 400 marks with the time limit of 200 minutes like Indian Heritage and culture, History, Geography of the world and India, Government, constitution, Indian Polity, Social Justice, International Relations, Technology, Bio – Diversity, Environment, Disaster Management, Economic Development and much more.

The Interview (100 Marks) will be taken of candidates who have qualified the other rounds.
