  AV=T.displacement/t.time total displace.=100m T.time=60/20+40/10=7sec putting in formula 14.3m/s and is obtained.

   60m * 1s/20m = 3 seconds 
  40m * 1s/10m = 4 seconds 
  
  100m/7s = average velocity = 14.28571 m/s and I would round it to 14.3 m/s
