  • To prepare for Gk you can just read the newspaper daily and stay updated on the current affairs. You can also try to learn some new facts about history of sports like major sporting events example world cups and olympics or you can learn about architecture and Indian culture, etc. daily. You can also take the general knowledge test in yTest here: https://www.youth4work.com/onlinetalenttest/General-Knowledge-test
No gk score of mat isnt considered in percentile but many institutes take that score in consideration in the second round of the selection.

  • gk questions are also asked in MAT such as in the field of Sports, History of Olympic years, inventors, popular book's authors, and current affairs by news reading etc... Google will help u to get this answer whatever i mentioned above. and it carry 40 questions...so prepare with it & go ahead with previous MAT paper. All the Best

  • See Preparation for The GK .. You should read the News and current affairs for sharping your knowledge...
and If i talk about your second query The GK section does not have a role to play in the composite score and few B-schools attach weight to it. The test-takers may choose to leave the 40 GK questions altogether and utilise this time in getting some crucial extra marks in other areas.!
