Directorate of Technical Education (DTE ) has released a notification for Maharashtra state for admissions to the MBA programs. But now, MAH CET CAP (Centralised Admission Process) is the process that will end with counseling for the selected candidates for MBA admission in the participating colleges of Maharashtra. The candidates who have passed Bachelor's degree (any discipline) from a recognized university/institute or its equivalent and have Indian Nationality are eligible.

Important Dates for MHT CET Exam

 

  • State Common Entrance Test Cell, Government of Maharashtra will conduct the examination for admission in various undergraduate courses (engineering, pharmacy, and agriculture).

  • The dates for MHT CET 2021 are yet to be announced soon by the Exam conducting body; the exam's tentative schedule is mentioned here.

  • MHT CET  Notification 2021 Release: February 2021

  • MHT CET  Application form filling (Registration): 2nd Week of February

  • Last Date MHT CET for  Application Form: 3rd week of March

  • MHT CET Admit card release date: 4th week of April

  • MHT CET  Exam 2021: In between 2nd – 4th Week of May

  • MHT CET  Result: 1st week of June

 

MHT CET Eligibility Criteria

         

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria is:

1. Age Limit:

There is no criterion for age as the candidates having the educational qualifications can appear for the entrance exam.

2. Educational Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have passed HSC/ Class 12th examination, equivalent to physics, chemistry, biology or mathematics, and English with at least 50% of marks from a government-recognized board/ institute.

  • For Reserved Category candidates, 45% is the minimum marks criteria for eligibility.

3. Nationality:

The candidate must be of Indian Nationality.

 

MHT CET Application Fee

 

The candidates have to pay the fee for the recruitment application form during the submission of the form; the amount is mentioned here:

  • General Candidates: Rs. 800+ Payment Charges

  • Reserved Category Candidates: Rs. 600+Payment Charges

 

MHT CET Recruitment Application Form

 

  • The candidates have to apply on the official site mahacet.org and click Apply Online.

  • The candidate has to register themselves with the mobile number and email ID, note down the registration number and password for future use.

  • The candidate has to enter personal information, contact information, and educational qualifications.

  • The candidate has to select the subjects from Mathematics or Biology for MHT CET, further sign the declaration that says the information provided is authentic.

  • Upload the requisite documents, photograph, and signature in JPG/ JPEG Format within the given dimensions and submit the form.

    • Photograph Dimensions: 15 KB – 50 KB

    • Signature Dimensions: 5 KB – 20 KB

    • Verification ID: 15 KB – 250 KB

  • Pay the application fee and finally submit the application form.

  • Keep a copy of the filled application form for future use.

Tips and Tricks of Maharashtra Common Entrance Test

  • Become smart by attempting questions that you are sure of first, then come to the questions you’re in doubt. But don’t attempt them anyway, remember negative marking is a factor here. Therefore, only attempt a question if you really know the answer to.
  • Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
