Make it a habit to read the newspapers and magazines daily. You need to keep yourself updated on events such as cricket world cup, past and forthcoming Olympics, important changes taking place and recent announcements by government. Also, the global happenings that have their impacts in the country must be well read.     5. Winners and MVP of Indian Leagues
    6. Fight of the Century
    7. One Rank One Pension
    8. Volkswagen Pollution Issue
    9. Major merger and acquisitions (specially Indians)
    10. World Sports (specially Tennis)
    11. Cricket World Cup
    12. A P J Abdul Kalam (Brahmos / his books)
    13. Syrian Refugees
    14. New Heads of State (Canada / Australia / Nepal)
    15. Ramon Magsaysay Award (Indians who won it)

    If  you can gather even superficial information about the topics mentioned  above and spend 15-20 minutes reading about each of them, rest assured -  you will clear the CMAT General Knowledge cutoff and do well in other exams as well.
