RPF Constable Selection Process

 

RPF Constable Recruitment has four stages for the eligible candidates to get recruited. The candidates have to go through a proper RPF Constable selection process:

  • RPF Constable Computer-Based Test

  • Physical Measurement Test / Physical Efficiency Test (PMT/PET)

  • Document Verification

  • Medical Examination

RPF Constable Eligibility Criteria

 

The RPF Constable Eligibility Criteria is:

1. Age Limit:

  • The candidates must be within 18 - 25 years of age to be eligible to become Gram Sachiv at Haryana.

  • The candidates must be of said age by July 01, 2020.

2. Educational Qualifications:

  • The candidate must have passed 10th class from the Government recognized Board/Institute.

3. Nationality:

  • The candidate must be of Indian Nationality.

RPF Constable Application Fee

 

  • RPF Constable Registration Fee for General Candidates: Rs. 500

  • SC/OBC/ST: Rs. 250

  • Females of any category have to pay Rs. 250 as an application fee. 

RPF Constable Recruitment Application Form

  • The candidates can apply on the official site only.

  • The exam conducting body releases notification on the official site of Indian Railway to fill the application form.

  • This notification contains the registration period's information, required documents, exam date, relevant eligibility conditions, etc.

  • The application form filling is started once the application form filling notification releases.

  • The candidates must carefully read the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam because the ineligible candidates' candidature will not be acknowledged.

 

RPF Constable Application Form Filling Process (Registration Process)

 

  • The candidates have to click on the Apply Online on the advertisement link of RPF Constable Notification 2020.

  • The application form will be filled in the below simple steps:

    • Upload Photograph and Signature

    • Verify the Details

    • Pay Application Fee

  • The personal information of the candidates is required like educational qualification, communication, category, etc.

  • The candidate's photo, signature, and certificates will be required during the application form filling.

  • The signature should also be clear. It will be matched in future use.

  • The candidates should note down the registration number and password for future use.

  • They should take the print of the application form copy to keep all the information with them for further use.

RPF Constable Admit Card

 

  • The admit card for RPF Constable online test will be available 7-8 days before the application form. The applicants can download the admit card from the official website only.

  • Candidates have to enter the login credentials that they have used at the time of registration.

  • The information available in the admit card:

    • ​Candidate’s Name

    • Candidate’s DOB

    • Registration number of the candidate

    • Examination Name, Date, Time

    • Venue and Code of Exam Center

    • Candidate's Photograph

    • Boxes containing space for signature and thumb impression of the candidate

  • The exam will be conducted in online mode.

  • RPF Constable Test Mode: Computer-Based Test

  • RPF Constable Test Type: Objective Type

  • RPF Constable Test Questions Type: Multiple-Choice Questions

  • RPF Constable Test Level: National Level

  • RPF Constable Test Language: English or Hindi or any Regional Language

  • RPF Constable Test Duration: 1.5 Hours (90 Minutes)

  • Number of Subjects: 3

    • General Awareness: 50 MCQs

    • General Intelligence and Reasoning: 35 MCQs

    • Arithmetics: 35 MCQs

  • Total Number of Questions: 120

  • Maximum Marks of RPF Constable Test: 120 Marks

  • The candidate has to secure minimum qualifying marks to clear the first stage of the exam; the minimum marks are:

    • Unreserved/ General/ OBC: 35 %

    • SC/ ST candidates: 30%

  • According to RPF Constable Computer-Based Test Score, the applicants have to appear for the RPF Constable PMT/PET.

  • PET (Physical Efficiency Test) Parameters differ for male and female candidates;

RPF Constable Marking Scheme

 

The RPF Constable exam's marking scheme is that 1 mark is allotted for each question in the examination. The negative marking for RPF Constable Exam is here:

  • 1 mark for each correct answer in the recruitment Exam.

  • 1/3rd negative marking is applicable for the incorrect answers of the Computer-Based Test.

  • The candidate's score won't be deducted for any mark if they leave the question unattempted.
