Degree with 60% marks from any recognized university, physics should be on the list of the main subject. The age limit is from 18 years to 30 years for the general category while the age relaxation is 3 years for OBC Candidates, 5 years for SC/ST Candidates, and 10 years for PH Candidates.

SSC Scientific Assistant is a computer-based test that consists of 2 parts with 200 Questions which carries 1 mark each with the time limit of 120 minutes.

  • Part I is divided into 4 sections:

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: It consists of 25 Questions carrying 1 marks each.

  • Quantitative Aptitude: It consists of 25 Questions carrying 1 marks each.

  • General Awareness: It consists of 25 Questions carrying 1 marks each 

  • English language & Comprehension: It consists of 25 Questions carrying 1 marks each.

  • ​Part 2:

Physics, Computer Science& IT, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering: It consists of 100 Questions carrying 1 marks each.
