SBI PO Main Exam Details, Syllabus and Pattern with Eligibility



State Bank of India (SBI) conducts recruitments process for the post of PO (Probationary Officers). The vacancy of this post is 2000 along with the basic pay of Rs. 27,000. SBI PO is a computer-based test held in two tiers: Prelims and Mains. The bank fills up almost 3000 vacancies through the post. Shortlisted candidates after the Prelim Exam will be eligible for the Mains. After clearing Mains the candidates will be called up for the Group discussion (GD). The graduates' youngsters those who are interested in the Banking sector shall apply for the Exam. The MAIN exam is conducted in the Month of may. The Main examination of SBI PO takes place in the month of JUNE. After clearing the Mains examination, the candidates are shortlisted for the GD (group discussion) and Interview.

Exam Pattern of SBI PO Mains Exam:

Duration: The duration of the paper will be of 135 minutes.
No. of Questions: 155 Objective type questions.
Syllabus Covered: Reasoning Ability and computer aptitude, English, Quantitative aptitude, General awareness.
Marking Scheme: 1 marks will be awarded for every correct answer and 0.25 will be deducted for every wrong answer.
Time Limit per Section: Candidates will be allotted exactly 27 minutes for each section.
Eligibility:

Educational Qualification

A candidate must have passed in SBI PO prelims and should be holding a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university/institute.

Age Limit

The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years.
