AFCAT has been started in 2011 for recruiting candidates for Air Force held by Indian Air Force twice every year (February & August). Its recruitment is done in 3 Departments- Flying Branch (Fighters, Transporters, Helicopters), Technical Branch (Mechanical & Electronics), Ground Duty Branch (Administration, Accounts, Logistics, Meteorology & Education).
AGE LIMIT:
Flying Branch: 20 – 24 years as on January 1, 2021 Ground Duty: 20 – 26 years as on January 1, 2021
The age limit is 20 years and 25 years as the Upper age limit.
The salary of Flying Officer is 56100 – 110700.
