VIT engineering entrance exam is an All India engineering examination conducted by VIT University. VITEEE is conducted every year in the month of April, they invite application for various B.tech programs in Vellore and Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal. It is held in 117 cities in India. The exam is Computer-based and the duration is 150 minutes. The last date is not announced yet to apply for VITEEE. The exam pattern includes the following sections (Physics, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology, English) and aptitude section (10 questions) also added in this exam. For PCM, the university provides 18 Engineering programs whereas, for PCB, the university provides 3 B.tech Bio - stream Engineering programs. The eligibility criteria for General candidates is 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Maths, English in +2/ Intermediate. However, for SC/ST categories and Northeastern states, the average marks should be 50% if put together for Physics, Eglish, Chemistry, Maths/ Biology. NIOS Candidates can also apply for VITEEE. The examination will be conducted on 29th July - 2nd August, 2020.

Tips and Tricks for VITEEE:

  • Make mathematics your strong suit, practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. The trick here is to mug up math formulas by heart, so they come in handy while solving a problem.
  • Become smart by attempting questions that you are sure of first, then come to the questions you’re in doubt. There is no negative marking for wrong answering. Try to attemp maximum questions.
  • Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
