URATPG Exam 2020: Exam Pattern, Details and Insights



University of Rajasthan Admission Test of Post Graduate Courses (URATPG) conducted for the admissions in various programs. The candidate needs to choose maximum five subjects for the test, at the time of registration. The exam will be conducted on 14th, 15th, 17th, 19th & 22nd June 2020. The application form will be release on Last week of May 2020 and the last date is in June 2020 to apply the form. The mode of filling the application form is online and the exam will be conducted in offline mode. The candidate need to have the bachelor’s degree in the discipline in which they want to pursue the PG. The exam will be of 75 minutes and will have following sections- General Awareness and the subject chosen by the candidate.

Eligibility for URATPG Exam 2020

Nationality / Citizenship: The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

Educational Qualification:

  • For LLM- the candidate must have passed bachelor’s degree in Law with at least 55% marks.
  • For Labour Law- the candidate must have passed bachelor’s degree in Law with at least 48% marks.
  • For Criminology- the candidate need to pass LLB Exam.

  • Offline test will be of 70 marks.
  • The exam will have 70 MCQs type questions
  • Total duration of the exam will be 75 minutes
  • Sections in the exam: Two
    • General Awareness for 10 marks
    • Subject chosen by the candidate for 60 marks
  • There is no negative marking.

Preparation Tips for URATPG Exam 2020

·         You need to finish 2 sections of URATPG Exam within 75 minutes, which means you need speed with accuracy in order to attempt 120 questions in total. The more you practice, the better chances you have of acing this exam.

·         Remember negative marking is not a factor here. Therefore, try to attempt all questions.

·         Manage your time properly; give appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
