Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology or KIIT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, is a technical university which offers specialized bachelor's degree in engineering. The odisha based setup has developed a rising campus which has attaracted students across the country. For the admission in KIIT, KIIT conducts an entrance examination to take in candidates for engineering courses. Admission to the 4-year B.Tech programmes at Kalinga Institutes of Industrial Technology will be based on KIITEE.Since the entrance exam is computer based, candidates can easily move between sections while answering the questions. The University offers engineering in Aerospace, Architecture, Automobile, Chemical and Civil and other specialisation. University is considered as one of the best source of engineering education in the country.  A student who have passed 10+2 examination or is appearing for 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Maths as main subjects is eligible for admission in this course. KIITEE contains 120 questions from physics, chemistry and maths with syllabus of these subjects covering upto 12th class. To Prepare well, candidates are advised to attempt KIITEE Exam previous year question papers.

Exam Pattern:  KIITEE

It is a computer-based test consisting of 3 sections i.e. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Each section will have 40 Objective Type Questions and for each right answer, you’ll get 4 Marks with the time limit of 3hours.

Physics
: It will have Solids & Fluids, Gravitation, Oscillations, Waves, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy & Power, Heat & Thermodynamics, Magneto Statics, and Electrostatics’, Ray Optics, Wave Optics, Atoms, Molecules & Nuclei, Electrons & Protons & more.

Chemistry: It will have States of Matter, Solutions, Chemical Energies & Thermodynamics, Chemical Equilibrium, Atomic Structure, and Chemical Bonding & Molecular Structure, Redox Reactions & Electrochemistry, Surface Chemistry, Nuclear Chemistry, Heavy Metals, Hydrocarbons and more.

Mathematics: It will have Sets, Relations & Functions, Matrices & Determinants, Quadratic Equation, Sequences & Series, and Two Dimensional Geometry, Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Trigonometry, Probability, Vector Algebra, Measures of Central Tendency & Dispersion and more.
 

Eligibility Criteria: KIITEE 
 

  • The eligibility for applying for KIITEE is 10+2 class Pass with 60% of total marks in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry.
  • The minimum age for applying for KIITEE is 17 and the maximum age is 35 as candidates born on or after July 1, 1998 are suitable to apply for KIITEE.
