Bharti Vidyapeeth University (BVU) has established itself as a global university with a wide offering of programmes spanning varied educational faculties and one of best student-friendly campus. The University based in the city of Pune offers a large number of courses including Graduate and Postgraduate in Engineering. The university conducts a Common Entrance test namely BVP CET for admission in UG engineering courses for every aspirant across India. NAAC has provided the university with a top grade improvising the already built reputation of the university. The BVP CET is a 200 question exam with 100 questions each for Physics and Maths and no negative marking. A time period of 3 hours is allotted to the aspirants for attending the BVP CET. Applicants must have passed their 10+2 with a Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (H.S.C.) or the Indian School Certificate Examination(ISCE) or any other equivalent examination from any recognized Board/University.

Important Dates: BVP CET

  • BVP CET schedule 2020 for UG and PG courses has been notified by BVU on its official website.

  • The last date to submit BVP CET application form is May 31, 2020, till 5:00 pm.

  • Issuance of BVP CET admission card will most likely start from the fourth week of May 2020.

  • BVP CET examination date is May 24, 2020 and June 07, 2020.

  • BVP CET results will be announced on June 08, 2020.

  • BVP CET counseling will be held in the month of July 2020.

BVP CET : Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification:

Applicants must have passed their 10+2 with a Higher Secondary Certificate Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination(ISCE) or any other equivalent examination from any recognized Board/University.

BVP CET : Exam Pattern

  • Type: Paper-based test (Offline Mode)

  • Duration: The duration of the exam will be of 180 minutes.

  • No. of Questions: 200 Objective type questions.

  • Syllabus Covered:  Physics, and Maths up to 12th class.

  • Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be awarded for every correct answer and 0 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

  • Time Limit per Section: No such limits are set per section on the basis of time.

  • Physics: Physical World and Measurement, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Gravitation, Properties of Bulk Matter, Thermodynamics, Behavior of perfect gas and kinetic theory, Oscillations, waves, etc.

 

  • Mathematics: Trigonometry, Determinant, Sets, Relations and Functions, Logarithm, Complex Numbers, Quadratic Equations, Sequences and Series, Permutations and Combinations, Mathematical Induction and Binomial Theorem, Limits & Continuity, Differentiation, Applications of Derivatives, Integration, Application of integral, Differential equations, Boolean Algebra, Mathematical Logic, Matrices, Plane Coordinate Geometry, Vectors, Geometry, Linear Programming, Statistics, etc.

Tips and Tricks BVP CET
 

  • Make mathematics your strong suit, practice questions to solve them within time to increase efficiency. The trick here is to mug up math formulas by heart, so they come in handy while solving a problem.

  • Become smart by attempting questions that you are sure of first, then come to the questions you’re in doubt. But attempt them anyway, remember negative marking is not a factor here. Therefore, try to attempt all questions but keep some time for revision of questions as well.

  • Manage your time properly; give an appropriate amount of time to each section. Try to improve your time by practicing as many online tests as possible.
