  • CA PCC- Chartered Accountancy Professional Competence Course Test is the second level examination to become CA. The concerned authority of Chartered Accountancy is the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The aspirants must have cleared CPT examination.

  • CA PCC- Chartered Accountancy Professional Competence Course
    This is the second step for becoming an CA. This exam is now called CA Intermediate. This exam is held twice in a year first in May then in November. The results of this examination are out after a month or so in June and December. There are 2 section in this examination. As per the new guidelines this paper will contain 30% objective type and remaining 70% will be MCQ type questions with 1 or more marks.
     
    Eligibility:
    Now let’s talk about eligibility. To appear in this exam the candidate must clear CPT examination. Must worked as an audit assistance or articled assistance minimum of 15 months, and have completed information technology training.
    APPLICATION FEE:
    BOTH GROUPS- INR 1600/-
    ONE GROUP- INR 1000/-
    LATE FEE- INR 500/-
     
    Exam pattern:
    There are not many changes in the new scheme. The exam will be offline. The exam will consist of 8 papers. The total time per paper 3 hrs. The total marks per paper is 100. The medium of the paper will be Hindi or English. The paper is held in paper and pen mode. And there is no negative marking.

    Part I: Corporate Laws (60 Marks)      Part II: Other Laws (40 Marks)
    Paper 3: Cost and Management Accounting (100 Marks)

    Tips and tricks:
    1.      As there is no negative marking try to attempt all the questions.
    2.      Revise your concepts so that you attempt will in the paper.
    3.      Practice prep test so that you know your strengths and weaknesses.
    4.      Must have knowledge of all the laws.
